Computer Lab

The application of computers in the modern world is unlimited. Computers are extensively used in research and development, besides their routine use in commerce. As the use of computers is manifold, the demand for trained professionals is also increasing. Computer Science is taught as a compulsory subject that spans over the elementary, middle, secondary and senior secondary level. Several computer science electives are offered to senior secondary students. Our Computer Lab is equipped with 40 computers and is open to all students from Grade 1 to Grade 12. All computers have access to applications for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, and programming in a variety of languages like LOGO, BASIC, HTML, C and C++. The computers are equipped with network access to allow students to explore the Internet. There are a variety of specialized educational programs also installed in the computers. Students may work in the lab on subject-related projects, under the supervision of respective subject.

Chemistry Lab

We have well equipped chemistry lab. The students of higher section perform practical individually. They are accompanied by the teacher incharge to help them to carry out the experiments methodically. The students of Secondary Section perform experiments in groups under the guidance of able teachers. In Primary Section Students visit labs. They are given the practical demonstration of the topics when required

Physics Lab

We have well equipped physics laboratory. We have all the equipments to meet the Tamil Nadu Board Standard. We acknowledge the students with charts, models and experiments related to the subject in the laboratory. The laboratory is spacious and also well planned to help children learn fast and effectively. Our school extends full co-operation in updating the stock of instruments helpful in nurturing the scientific temper of the students in the laboratory. We also assist the students with various books concerning with projects, experiments and datas. Some of the instruments available in the laboratory are: – spectrometer, monometer, traveling microscope, optical bench, galvanometer, ammeter, voltmeter, vernier caliper, screw gauze etc.

Math Buddy - Math Lab

Math Buddy is a world class, interactive platform for the students to understand, practice and love mathematics through an interesting conceptual experience based on "Learning by Doing" methodology. It is based on highly researched activities for every math concept to ignite conceptual, learning by doing in the child.

A Unique Confluence of Best in Class Lab Instruments with Virtual Manipulative to help children Explore, Experience and Enjoy Mathematics

Mathematics is all around us and we interact with the elements of mathematics world on a day to day basis. We need to help children experience Mathematics in the world around them, learn to reason, experiment and think logically with mathematical concepts. Children learn best when they are excited about what they do and how they do. “Learning by doing” is considered as the best method to impart concept understanding. Every child has a unique way of thinking, learning and making sense of what he/she thinks and observes. The traditional form of teaching is no longer adequate to meet the demands of changing facets of mathematics education. It is thus imperative to modify the traditional form of teaching by introducing more robust strategies for teaching such as setting up Math Lab and introducing digital set up environment.

LEGO Education

A System for Learning Systems are essential for learning because they are used by the mind to generate meaning from the endless onslaught of stimuli from the outside world. They help us to make sense of things and to build knowledge and understanding.

Through systems we also channel creativity into ideas or artefacts in a way that can be understood and valued by ourselves and others. They help us to express ourselves. Systems that allow us to build knowledge and understanding, as well as express it, are crucial for learning. We call this Systematic Creativity: the ability to think creatively and reason systematically. It is about making sense of, and leveraging, human experience. It is marked by a strong push to put imagination and creativity at the service of knowledge and reasoning. The LEGO® System for learning is unique because it provides endless opportunities to make sense of things and express new ideas.

LEGO 4C Approach - Global Curriculum for global learners

Working with companies such as National Instruments and leading universities including Carnegie Mellon, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Edinburgh and Cambridge University, LEGO Education has developed a range of resources for pre-primary, primary and secondary schools. These cover important areas of the curriculum including science, technology, mathematics, technology, language and literacy, in an authentic and hands-on way LEGO® Education teaching resources embody a ‘Four C’ framework through which students are free to experiment and explore in order to gain new knowledge. All LEGO tasks are designed to deliver a learning experience through this framework. The success of the Four C process.
